Charity shop books

I absolutely love shopping for books in charity shops. I often find things that are on my wish list - such as the recent Atwood pictured. But at the prices the books are, you can afford to try things you aren't sure about, too. The British Heart Foundation seem to have the widest selection, but they are usually all £2.50. The other shops often have them for between £1 and £2. I have learnt that you will never find an unusual bargain in Oxfam (they are too savvy about what things are worth), but in some of the smaller shops you can find surprises. Even if you don't find much you want, it is fun to hunt things.
