Modernist park
Strathclyde Country Park
Built upon the old low parks of the estates of the Dukes of Hamilton, millionaire coal owners. The Loch was made in 1975, part of the Strathclyde Region and the artificial loch covers the old mining village of Bothwellhaugh.
The M74 runs past it
