Beauty is in the eye
of the beholder.
Friends of mine can't believe that I keep peacock feathers in my house. Something to do with the bad luck of an Evil eye watching me.
Can't see it myself but then I am really drawn into the iridescent hues, which shimmer and change each time I look at them.
Peacock Feathers are said to carry Spiritual Healing Energy that can be used to help those who seek balance and harmony in their lives.
If I am to believe in any superstition about these feathers, then I would look to Hinduism, where the Peacock is associated with Lakshmi who is a deity representing patience, kindness, compassion and good luck.
I have really enjoyed photographing these feathers today, I suppose that this is my first macro attempt. Not really sure what I'm doing when it comes to macro shots, think I should have used a tripod, but was too tired to set it up.
Talking of shots, I'm going to have to get a lot of practice in over the next two weeks, as I have been asked by Miss M to take photos of the school show with the idea of selling them to the parents.
Might be in over my head a bit, however will consult my fairy photo-father about this challenge and see he can give me a few tutorials.
Any hints and tips about taking photos of shows are very very welcome.
