I ran around the Dubai Creek today in a great team that came second overall in the 40km Dubai Creek relay race. Just after we had finished, the mother of all sandstorms came in and sent us scurrying for cover in the cars. I've never seen anything quite like it here - one minute bright sunshine and the next sand and chaos. Shortly afterwards the entire view disappeared and visibility reduced to a few metres.
