The Light Breaks Before Twilight
It has been a particularly cold and nasty couple of days here. Compounded by the mother of all headaches, this scene symbolized relief for me. The winter sun broke through the cloud cover for about 5 minutes to illuminate these grain silos. I only had enough time to slam on the brakes, get off the road and capture a few different exposures before it was gone. Conveniently, the light was so strong that it was very noticable how fast the clouds were moving in to blot it out again.
Although not very pretty, the image spoke of my mood, my pain and my hope that the light will shine again.
