Barn window art
Someone painted pictures on my
Windowpane last night --
Willow trees with trailing boughs
And flowers, frosty white,
And lovely crystal butterflies;
But when the morning sun
Touched them with its golden beams,
They vanished one by one.

A Coke and a smile....
A morning of mountainous snow and deep icy cold. Off to paint with my friends soon, the drive will be long with snowdrifts looming on each corner hiding those inching out.
This old Coke bottle in the icy barn window caught my eye as I was watching Papa Sparrow sing his song in a nearby bush.
