The Tooth Hurts

My son had a visit to the dentist this morning. He had an abscess on a baby tooth. After a course of antibiotics the tooth was to be removed. He is only ten so was very brave throughout the procedure including three needles to make him numb. Even with this he was in a lot of pain when the tooth was pulled. You can see by the length of the roots why he was in so much pain. The dentist and dental assistant both exclaimed on the length of the roots stating they are some of the longest ever seen. Long enough for the dentist to check he had an adult tooth due to come through. Luckily for us all he does.

Both me and Owen winced at the picture when I cropped it. It truly looks gruesome.
