Liquid Fire

Tonight was a whole new sunset experience joining up with new friends and old. Four others from blipfoto had met in the past near this dock in Empire, so I thought there might be a good chance of catching them all there tonight with such a beautiful sunset brewing. The best part of meeting new people is seeing their unique approach to capturing a scene. It's not like we were all standing side by side and trying to make a different photo. In fact, if you looked through all of our shots I am sure you would see some of the same basic compositions, but when the finished product is posted tonight we all saw something different that caught our attention - in the same moment. I am grateful for the instant community of photography and look forward to many impromptu and planned outings in the future!
