This grows on the road side....
.....here in the Marlborough Sounds, thought it time to get the Lensbaby out and try to photograph it, quite windy and there was a lot of movement.....Queen Anne's Lace (I think) very pretty weed.
yesterday was busy so today we stayed home. We have been here 5days & are now into our fourth sunny and warm day here, too hot to sit outside.
This morning we fished and swam from the beach in front of our house - the wee ones (well we all did) have a fun morning, two tiny fish caught which made Ella and Harry's morning but put back to grow. We have just been out kicking a ball around on the lawn....picture this - lawn surrounded by huge punga ferns, nikau palms, huge kanuka's and many other natives.....awesome. I took the wee ones on a nature walk this morning. Last night two wood pidgeons (Kereru) perched on the branches just out from our terrace, and bellbirds and tui's are everywhere. Also a family of quail have been seen daily, the wee chicks are so tiny and cute. Mum & Dad are so protective of them and hilarious to watch.
I have just been delivered a large Long Island Tea, don't no what is in it, but I tell you it is delicious.
Happy Days
Rainie
