Can't Back Down

I don't take many self-portraits. But today, after a tough workout with a lot of sweat, I wanted to. Now that midterms are over, I'm a second-semester senior. It's nice, but it's overrated. So many of my friends say they're going to slack off now. Too many. It's a disease. I don't think it's a good thing.

This is not to say that I'm going to necessarily study as hard as I've been studying. But I'm not going to stop working hard. The first thing I did after school today was go to the community center. I owe it to myself and my team. Plus, after eating out the last two days, I still have extra calories, or so it seems haha.

I'm not going to stop working hard. I got sports, music, job/internship searches to go. I don't work hard for school. I work hard for life. That's just how it is. You can see it in my face. I can't back down. I won't back down.
