Ecole des Beaux Arts, Paris

This is part of the courtyard of the Ecole des Beaux Arts, on a cloudy Friday afternoon. We were there for the announced last day of an exhibition of old master drawings (I forget exactly which), and found that in fact, due to construction, it had closed the previous day. What frustration!!

Their regular small drawings exhibitions are very good--just don't try to go on the last day!
