Turning off...

Yesterday's blip

After a crazy few days of being attached to my laptop doing work and not getting enough sleep from that and caffeine...it is time to turn off - literally!!

So, this weekend I'm going to try, really try, to turn my laptop off. Music can come from my iPod, social can come from my phone and actually seeing people. I've submitted the meter readings, paid my rent & the utilities bill will come on Monday.

It's the first time I've really not had to think about any kind of semester 1 presentation/exam/assignment and there's not really much work to do by way of next week's classes.

I'm looking forward to a weekend of just taking a bit of time out. I have a conference on Saturday & a ceilidh in the evening, then the usual church stuff on Sunday. Other than that, plenty of time to rest :]

But not be lazy!!

So, this is the plan - power off!!
