Morecambe Bay at Low Tide

There is some ancient magic at St. Patrick's Chapel, Heysham, a continuity with the past. Looking across the sands to the Lake District (as in this photo) the view is exactly the same as would have met the worshippers in the 6th century. The famous tombs carved into the rocks can be glimpsed below.
