Saxon No1

This evening I tried to remove the cast iron stovetop on the Saxon No1 I picked up from Ken's yesterday. Not surprisingly the nuts and bolts were completely rusted on. It took a lot of determination, an impact driver and the hammer to get most of them off. There are two that just won't budge though so I have put some penetrating oil on them and I will just have to have another go tomorrow.

This stove is going to be my spare parts. It is a Saxon brand which by the look of things is an inferior copy of a Crown. I thought it was exactly the same when I bought it but it is slightly different.

I need the stove top though. My Crown No1's is just too rusted out.
