Marvelous Mould

With all the rain and humidity we have had this summer (!) the cherry season has been a bit of a disappointment. They tend to be split and go mouldy very quickly.

The last few in the bottom of the cherry bowl had this amazing growth on them and I spent a lovely 1/2 hour lost in the world of mould. This was the first image captured and remained my favoured best shot of the session. Could have been sharper but not with my present equipment. Still not bad for hand-held macro.

Also did some interesting captures of reflections in puddles and of the wide cloud studded sky about Dunedin's environs. All interesting but the mould held first place.
