Driving Mr. Joyful
The straight white-ish line at the base of the picture is a railroad bed. Just above that and about in the center of the shot are a couple of dark funnel shaped objects. Those are retaining walls to hold up the roadbed of the 4-lane road I drive over nearly every day.
And above that road is a mountain that has every intention of flinging itself, one landside after another, into the valley below.
The trick is to NOT be on the road when that happens.
