Just passing through

Well wouldn't you be with a bed like that waiting for you? Am exhausted and happy. This afternoon and evening have been very full-on but all in a good way. After a rocky start (well, from my perspective anyway) the workshop sessions I have run have gone very well and I have had some very positive feedback. Dinner in the hotel (the very lovely Randolph) was excellent and I even managed to stay on my best, most professional behaviour whilst having a good time too. Off for a not too late night in the pictured inviting bed as we have a very early start and full day ahead. At least now I have met everyone and, on the whole, they show every sign of being human beings, which is always reassuring.

Mustn't go though without mention of loveliness of A bringing me my first breakfast in bed - buttered bread and water as she didn't think she should use the kettle or toaster. So lovely that her response to me going away is to show kindness.

No possibility of commenting over the next couple of days. Will look forward to a blip catch-up at the weekend.
