Tree

This was on the ceiling of a room in the Natural History Museum. It?s a slice out of a tree, which I thought looked amazing. I?m a bit annoyed that I couldn?t get in the sides of the roots though...

Met the family first thing at the National History Museum and we looked around there. It was heaving though, and the kids didn?t seem that impressed by fossils etc... Not the best fun. But my parents came around lunchtime, and we went to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition which was very impressive. It was also very busy though, and it was also quite overwhelming having sooo many amazing photographs all in one room.

Pizza Express for lunch (mmhmmm...) and then to Waterstones and the hotel to pick up our bags. Mum and dad had to go to the same station to get a train to visit my brother, so we said goodbye there, and I went to meet my host family at the gate for the Eurostar. Uneventful train journey back, and then I just went straight to my room, chatted to a couple friends and then went to sleep. VERY tired!
