Parents are so awesome sometimes aren't they? Mine have just been so good since Mark and I moved. It also helps they are retired. They take stuff to the tip for us, they cook, they clean. I really can't complain.

Today, the men-folk fixed the light in the loft and also the heater in the bedroom that has never worked. Mum and I tidied the computer room (which hasn't had a path to walk down till now) and cleaned and all the rest.

Mark and I also managed to compile our first 2 week menu and shopping list, as we have no money...and can't survive on our almost daily £10 shopping trip to tesco.

That was my day. Not thrilling, but very useful and satisfying :)
