Walk This Way

Back Blipped from break in the Lakes: visited the beautiful Duddon Valley. Saw the bridge at Ulpha then went half a mile further to see these stepping stones over the River Duddon. Noting the warning not to attempt to cross 'when the river is high' we stayed on terra firma as we'd seen the icicles on the middle step. Our route home took us over Wrynose Pass but although there was a sign that it was 'closed due to snow' there was only a touch of ice on the shaded side.
