In black and white 9

Me as a toddler. Happy memories!

This is a strange one. It is actually the picture of an amplified paper copy of a scanned copy of the original. The original is in black and white, and I don't have it myself. It was scanned and sent to me by e-mail by my sister. This is officially my favourite picture as a toddler and that's why I'm blipping it! I just look so happy!!

My chilhood was mostly in black and white. Although colour camera films aready existed, people tended to use more black and white films because they were cheaper. It was also more interesting because you didn't know how the photo was gonna come out till the film was developed. Ah! The excitement of going to the shop to collect your pictures! TV was in black and white, full stop! I still remember the joy in our faces when we got the first colour TV at home!!

Life has changed a lot since then!

I felt very tired after last week, so today I decided to have a day of rest. Got a few things sorted, went outside just to visit my bank and shop a few groceries and pretty much relaxed for the rest of the day.

Back to work tomorrow.
