Un hommage
After a day's work in Gateshead I had no sooner arrived in Waverley station than I was informed that the bould samIam, Oldmills and Sam's visiting friend MileHigh were arriving on the North Berwick express twenty minutes later. A pre-drink pizza had been decided upon. As we were waiting for their train I mused to DH that the quickest route to Pizza Express would be up Fleshmarket Close which would almost inevitably lead to Oldmills wishing to investigate the Halfway House. As they arrived OM received a message from Mr Smith suggesting a quick one in....the Halfway House! This got the evening off to an excellent start, followed by the pizza and then blip meeting in the Cafe Royal. (The tiled panels on the walls were looking great, CanCarrier - where were you?)
I am backblipping this as I can't cope with working, eating, drinking, blethering and blipping. I must ask MAiT how he manages to cope. Anyway, it's rather a poor shot (they don't really have red eyes!) but it's un hommage to that great blipper M. Raheney. (You may observe that Mr Smith is holding the delicious dinner that Oldmills bought for him.)
