THE SPRUCE-FIR

was a risk our neighbours said, it could suddenly fell down because firs do not root very deep, especially in the rocky slope where we live.
So to-day the "Baumversorger" came and in one hour they did their job and the fir was gone. Now there is an open space, what a pity we thought but then we can see now the Weser stream up north and also the red train going from Ottbergen to Göttingen once in 2 hours time and vice-versa of course.
They also cut the dead branches from our oak and now the shape of it looks more beautiful than it did before.
A little sunshine comes through, a walk in the forest seems a good idea. We are lucky people. No danger here anymore!?
