Australia Day

I had intended to put on a photo of the Australian flag that we took up to Christian's grave, but it didn't look very interesting and it was also sad.

Today is a public holiday in Australia for most people, but for people like me who have to work so other people can enjoy themselves, it wasn't.

It has been very hot 31 deg c, but we weren't particularly busy. Most people were at the beach or in the park having bbq's.

Last night was a bit strange, we had Sir Michael Parkinson on TV saying we should become a republic, and then stood there singing 'Your next Queen is Camilla Parker-Bowles' to the Beatles tune 'We all live in a Yellow Submarine.'

What's the go with that, he is a knight of the realm. AND Camilla P-B is also going to be HIS Queen.

So every Australia Day we have the same thing, we should be a Republic, we need a new flag. etc, etc

But tomorrow that will be forgotten, until next year.

So, here we have Neo and Sophia looking out the front door at the birds on the front lawn. United in nattering at the birds together.
