~Diminished Returns~

I hadn't planned on posting tonight, just a really busy day.
And since my return to The Blip, consecutive postings is not an issue.
But about an hour before sundown the sky showed a lot promise.
I thought I'd better go up to the ridge-line, this is going to be a good one.
But an hour later, the clouds were blown away to the north.
I was left with a view that should have been experienced from my sofa.
I know what your thinking, has he lost his mind, this image is acceptable.
You maybe right, not about losing my mind, but about the image.
What I'm eluding to is by Arizona standards this was a mediocre display.
So my work was cutout for me, I had to do some post-processing.
Still, I think I should have stayed on the sofa and let my dinner settle.

Don't be fooled though, I do like this image.
