This is the necklace that james gave me nearly 7years ago. It was a birthday present off of him just before we got together. I have worn this necklace practically everyday for nearly 7years and have only had to change the chain once.

I wear it on happy times and on sad times. I fiddle with it when I'm nervous and find wearing it somehow comforting if james isn't around for that reassuring hug. When I don't wear this necklace the children at school ask me where it is. When they draw pictures of me I am usually wearing this necklace. If I don't wear it I feel like something is missing. After nearly 7 years, this necklace is a big part of my identity....as is James.
