just a moment...

There I was, poised to zoom in on some lovely shapes made by the drifting snow.....and who should come running into my view....Ms Zoe!!!! But she's so pretty and she actually livens up what could have been a somewhat predictable image!

It was beautiful this morning, and with the temps having risen from -19 yesterday to a balmy -11 today, i headed out for a long walk. It really was quite wonderful! Zoe and Sherlock love heading off into the deep snow, altho Sherlock's shorter legs often leave him a bit stuck.....it was lovely when i was in the sunny parts - but when i headed into a shadow, boy was it chilly!
But i am thankful i don't live anywhere near Perth Ontario....my good friend Glenn (Swallowtail) reported a whopping - 33 yesterday.....now that's cold!!!
