More than Four Candles

Looking up the collective noun for candles gave me 'litter'.

That was the only response I could find on the whole of the internet and there was only one site with this answer.

Strange.

Anyone know better?

Photographed from above and from the side. From the side seemed a bit more satisfactory.

Michael Faraday, who was clearly a bit of a genius wrote a whole book about candles, the text of which can be downloaded for free and this was the inspiration for the fantastic Faraday lectures we see every Christmas on the BBC.

Of the candle, Faraday wrote, 'The candle itself is now made to light up the dark places of nature; the blowpipe and the prism are adding to our knowledge of the earth's crust; but the torch must come first.'

He also invented an early form of bunsen burner and discovered benzene and developed ideas about electromagnetic fields. Well, I built a shed once but that doesn't really compare does it?
