Artist's stuff

The brushes, oils, and odd bits and pieces of Scarborough artist Ken Wood in his South Cliff studio, The Arts Workshops. I find the 'clutter' which artists work in fascinating and often very photogenic. Makes the camera seem a very dull (but clean!) way of making 'art'...
Ken, who wanted to be a photographer initially, also has a huge collection of old, Victorian, carte d'visite photos, which were also fascinating.
He opens a month long exhibition of some of them, on the theme of fashion, on Friday at the studio.
