Sad Rose

My mum works as a vet receptionist, and has done for the past 17 years. Because of this, each Christmas she rakes in a HUGE pile of gifts from clients, many of whom she has known since she first started working there. This sad little flower is from a beautiful potted rose bush she received from one client who obviously wasn't aware of our track record when it comes to looking after roses. It wasn't that long ago that we had to throw away a pretty yellow tea rose that took a strong dislike to living in our kitchen (personally I think they are just too fussy!).

Anyway, I'm blipping this plant in the final stages of it's demise.... I'm not much of a hoarder but I do hate throwing plants away. Maybe it will recover. But for now it is being thoroughly dead-headed!
