power poles

Power company has decided that we need new (improved? taller? fatter?) poles. I did manage to keep them from cutting down all the trees on our road in order to institute this fab plan. They were eager to move the line to the road so that they could fix downed lines from their truck. I pointed out that if they kept it in the field no branches would fall on it in the first place!
