Swop Shop

Apologies - I have gone and got myself behind in my blipping again! And with that I have neglected looking at and commenting on my blip friends' blips so I do hope you will forgive me! I will be trying to catch up over the next couple of days!

So today is my last full day at the White Shark Projects. I have had a fabulous time but I'm looking forward to getting home too - I have so many lovely things to come home to this time :-)

We had a trip out this morning but we only saw one shark for about 30 seconds so not the best. But this afternoon, we went to help out at the Recycling Swop Shop that WSP run in the local township. The children collect recyclables (plastic & glass bottles & cans) and bring them along. They are then given a number of points depending on how much they bring and they swop those points for goodies - clothes, pens, pencils, books, toys etc. It's a great project and the kids love it.

Tonight, my roomie and now really good mate Corinne and I have been invited on a girls' nite oot. We are now ready to go and are waiting to be picked up!
