Show me the way to go home

Signpost at Pitcox, East Lothian. I went for a morning ride up to Pitcox on the road, then down to Tynefield via the Biel estate and home through the woods.

My East Lothian life is signposted there - I lived first on the High Street in Dunbar in the 1990s, then a new house on the outskirts of Dunbar from 2001. In 2003 we moved to Spott and in 2006 down the hill to West Barns. We had a child born in every house.

So, where next? Perhaps I should pick a place from the sign. It'll probably be Dunbar again, to be near the train station and shops and not too far from West Barns school. Belhaven would be ideal - but it's not on the signpost!
