Twice in a Row
Yes, another train picture. However, this is not the CTA. It's the Metra. The CTA handles transit in the city; the Metra brings people out to the suburbs.
The reason I took the Metra today was to visit Ryan and Zach in Westmont. Zach's grandmother passed away, and we went to her wake. It was sad. We then went back to Ryan's and watched some T.V.
I didn't take any pictures but this one when I was with them. Ryan's mom likes to exercise her creativity by decorating her house, and I was a wee bit jealous that there were colorful Christmas lights all over the place because when I was growing up, my mom hated it when I hung Christmas lights in my bedroom. Since I'm on my own now, I can always use them in my apartment but Nate doesn't like them either. :(
On the way back home, I snapped this cool picture of the Sears Tower. The loop (downtown) was really empty and quiet when I was there after midnight. I love it when it's like that.
When I was on the CTA, I tried to take a picture through the window but since it was so dark, the camera just captured a crappy reflection of me.
