Sheba

This is Sheba, constant garden companion, Sheba is five, always in allsorts of mischief. Today it was a trip to the vets, found a unusual growth on her tummy, so off to the vets to see what it was. But that's not as simple as sounds.

First you have to catch the cat who somehow has figured out that you have rung the vet, suddenly she is very popular, everyone wants her to come to them, hmm.

I get the cat cage and smuggle it into the house, put it in the office and close the door, now I need Sheba, she is wary, I get her to the office she spies the cage, I now sport a long scratch on my neck from frantic attempt to extricate herself from the situation, however its too late, shes in and we're off.

Now mild and meek, the vet says hows the nice kitty, I say beware the nice kitty she has attitude, we now owe the vet a new shirt and is that blood I see pot marking the shirt, Sheba gets put on the examining table, I'll just get a nurse to help as he departs the room, soon he is back with an apprehensive nurse in tow, Normally aloof Sheba now loves me, hugging close to me, looking up to me as if to say save me I cover her eyes so she doesn't see the two syringes, for the absyss two quick jabs and the medication is administered. Sheba gladly dives into the cage, the lid is closed. I pay the bill 97 dollars lighter in the bank account we return home.

Sheba is happy
