Mould

This is Longershank's room, it has featured twice before on the 5th June and 19th June when he was redecorating it. There had been what we'd thought was a damp problem in this room and others in the house, but I had re-done and re-routed the guttering and when we checked the walls they were all dry. Therefore it was okay to let him redecorate and get some new furniture. Unfortunately during a spring clean last week Mrs L found a serious mould problem.

The external wall still tests dry, but there was a lot of mould on the back of the bed & wardrobe as well as the external wall (all areas that were enclosed and out of sight). None of the other rooms in the house have this problem, so we're a bit stumped as to what is causing it. The short term solution has been to rearrange the furniture so as not to back onto the external wall. So dear Longershanks (he's in Kampala), this is what your room looks like now.
