Prickly

Feeling very prickly today , too long and too sad a tale to tell just one big " OUCH " of a day.
Anyway went in search of something indoors tonight to photograph , tried some plants and liked this one best, probably because it suited my mood.

Funnily enough the task of setting up the tripod and trying various lenses before settling on my 60mm macro seemed to calm my frazzled nerves. The cactus I have chosen to show tonight was in the bathroom and I put it on top of the toilet seat with the skirt I had on at the funeral today as a backdrop. How bizarre is that ?

Any way after all that I think I might have a brandy and settle down with a good book to help me sleep.
