Looking up the Esplanade

Took a quick trip up to the castle tonight. The thought being, that I often photograph it from Blackford Hill looking towards the Johnstone Terrace side so I figured I would take a shot of Blackford from the esplanade. Fine in theory but visibility wasn't good enough tonight, I think that'll be a shot left to the next full moon with a clear night.

Liked this one though, captured the castle, Johnstone Terrace and a good chunk of Edinburgh beyond. Just a pity about all the building works in the way of the view to the castle itself.
