Mussels
The car temperature gauge said 7°c but the wind said -2°c, down at the pier this evening. It was bloody Baltic!
This is a refrigerated container lorry loading up with freshly-caught mussels from Belfast Lough and which are generally sold in Holland or Belgium, according to my friend. I often imagined that driving one of these big trucks would be an interesting way to see some of the world, but with my luck, I'd end up delivering stuff to my local Tesco!
Grandson Kieran is doing really well, btw. Thanks again for the many lovely comments over the last few days!
