Monument

This is a Metro stop in Newcastle, where I went on Sunday as I had an interview for a Speech Therapy Masters on the Monday. I flew up Sunday afternoon from Paris, and went to my hostel which was in a slightly dodgy area of Newcastle (don't tell my mum!) but was actually really nice. Nothing else exciting happened, I wasn't particularly excited about the journey because, of course, I wasn't travelling in order to get somewhere fun!

I did see the Eiffel Tower from the plane window though, pointed out to me by the 10 year old Geordie kid sitting behind me.
