The Barber Institute, University of Birmingham

The holidays were too long. Boy, oh boy am I glad to be back. This is the foyer of the stunning Barber Institute in Birmingham, of which I am proud to have my department of study; Art History. The building was opened in 1939 and is a sophisticated example of art deco architecture designed by Robert Atkinson.

I snapped this one during my 2 hour work experience slot at the gallery, whilst waiting to give gallery visitors surveys to fill out.
