Last Day Of Being 3

When Bro3 was jumping around the living room this morning shouting 'It's my last day of being 3, last day of being 3!!' I knew the birthday excitement was reaching fever pitch. As we were waiting for the bell at nursery one of our friends helpfully asked him if he was a bit excited, wound him up a bit more and suggested he ask me to make him a John Deere tractor cake. Hilarious isn't she, especially at that time on a Monday morning. Baking just isn't my forte as Val well knows so this was the cause of great hilarity in the playground. I assured Bro3 that Grandma was bringing him a cake on his birthday but sadly it wouldn't be a green tractor one.

He had a lovely morning at nursery baking a cake with a couple of his friends and their teacher and shared it with all the children at snack time. He even had some left over to bring home.

He (& I ) got a huge surprise when I picked him up though. Val had been a busy lady in the 2 hours the kids were in nursery having made him a 'Happy Last Day of Being 3' cake complete with the obligatory green tractor!!

To say he is one happy wee lad is an understatement.
