American walnut

I discovered a fantastic timber yard at lunchtime, in a backstreet in Hammersmith. I'm not normally into wood, but compared with the delights of Primark, browsing here seemed like a better option.

There were lots of planks from all over the world with different colours and grains and the smells were amazing.
