finding motivation - the adventure

so you know how i hate school? because of that, i'm put at a total disadvantage now that midterm exams are this week. it's time to get motivated.

my dad has always been a michigan fan for as long as i can remember, so it's only natural that i pick it up from him. i love umich. i want to go there. sure, there are plenty of other great schools out there, but my heart is settled there. i think. my motivation is this: GET INTO MICHIGAN --> get good grades --> study for final exams.

as you can see, i enjoy spanish. you can also see that i hate ap gov. these are my first two finals coming up on tuesday.

i've been playing around with self-portraits lately and i'm trying to lessen my self-consciousness in front of the camera. when other people take photos of me, i'm perfectly comfortable, but for some reason, i'm never satisfied with self-portraits. the bottom right-hand corner is another thing that i tried today.

someone recommended angels and airwaves to me last week, and i finally checked them out. i fell in love with the first song i listened to -- the adventure. they're so good and i just got both of their albums. :)

i wanna have the same last dream again,
the one where i wake up and i'm alive.
just as the four walls close me within,
my eyes are open up with pure sunlight.
