A slightly disappointing blip day!

Its my birthday today, and although I have had a wonderful day in general (have been spoilt rotten and eaten far too much) it has definitely not been a good blip day!
We went over to Swanbourne Lake for a walk after lunch as I thought not only is it a beautiful place but they also serve delicious cake and hot chocolate! The cake and hot chocolate were indeed delicious the only disappointing thing was that when I got home I did not like a single one of the shots that I had taken!
I have settled in the end for this one, not because it is a good photo particularly but because it brings back great memories of climbing up the tree roots in the bank to explore the woodland behind, now of course I leave that to the children!! Although maybe in the summer I might be persuaded to climb back up.......... wellies are definitely not conducive to climbing on chalk!
Maybe tomorrow will be a more successful blip day - we can but hope I guess!
