Fingest, Ibstone and Turville loop
Washed the car (soon realising it would be a waste of time), then headed down the muddiest road in history to the Chequers pub in Fingest for lunch - minute-steak sandwich for me, rarebit for J.
Fortified we started today's walk, first heading north west to Ibstone, then doing a loop that saw us heading back down the valley to Turville. Highlight was was a herd (?) of 25+ wild deer, complete with three stags, running past us in the neighbouring field. Fantastic sight, just no blasted 105mm lens on me to capture it. Doh.
5.85 miles, 2 3/4 hours.
