Elmore - en route to Deniliquin

We're travelling up to Deni today. We stopped here to let E go on the miniature railway, a whole 1km in length and $3 a time - Heath Park Railway could do with being better value for money!

This is the first of many pictures no doubt which begin to show what being on the eastern side of the Great Dividing Range is really like. Here it was just hot and it was a relief to be in the shade and eat some excellent home-made meat pies from the local bakeshop - SO good.

We were on the road soon enough and the heat when we got to Deni and stepped out of our air-conditioned cars was just extreme. Very dry heat mind, which meant it was bearable.
