New Water Heater!

Ugh. Who knew these things cost so much? It's not so much the water heater itself, but the labor and the environmental fee to drag the old one away, etc. etc.

Oh well. The old one had been around since 1987 so I guess it was about time.

It's hard to get used to this one because it's all shiny and white and not as huge - our old water heater was goldenrod (no seriously, it was YELLOW) and a lot taller even though it held 10 fewer gallons (no idea how that works).

Not to worry though, our dryer is still a lovely shade of avocado.
