Orange Peel Fungi

Well that's I am calling it. Went for a walk around Arnside and Silverdale. It was a good callas it stayed misty and foggy at home all day. Didn't over do it but Mrs Wild started to panic when the tide turned on the coastal stretch around new Barnes Bay. You usually get a siren to announce the turn of the tide but either I am going deaf or it's busted.

At 1st I thought this was just a bit of discarded orange peel by a lazy walker but on closer inspection it turned out to be an exquisite orange fungus. I know a little about a lot of stuff and even less about fungus so I'll be having a thumb through my ID books later.
