Himos

So, today we headed to Himos, a ski 'resort' in central Finland and I got to try out my new skis for the first time. In the beginning it was a total disaster, I felt like I couldn't control them, I was skiing and falling around like a beginner on the easy slopes but as the day progressed I gained confidence in the new gear and it got a lot better.

Knackered now but it was certainly fun AND even though it's in Finland and not amazing by Alpine standards, I skied my first ever black run! Yay. Albeit not without falling over, but still... :)
